At least one member of a pack is required by National to be trained in Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation for a whole pack to go camping together with a valid tour permit. The trained BALOO leader must be in attendance of the event.
This training is targeted to allow the Cub packs to be approved to go on overnight camping outings. You will be provided great ideas, camping info, training handouts, and the knowledge to plan a weekend overnight car camping trip for your pack.

Troop 609 will hold a Webelos Overnighter on February 7-8, 2009 at Hart Park in Newhall, CA. Come learn about scouting and meet our troop and it’s great scouts. Arrive at 11:00 am and bring a lunch; Troop 609 will provide dinner and breakfast. We ask $10 per person to cover expenses. Invites the Webelos Units of Bill Hart District to their annual Webelos Overnight
Hart Park - November 8 & 9, 2008
Activities Begin 10:30 AM on Saturday and conclude at 9:00 AM on Sunday
Webelos will receive live teaching from experienced Scouts in the areas of
- First Aid
- Map and compass
- Knife and ax
- Fire building
Saturday afternoon will include other activities and games. The day will conclude with an amazing Dutch oven dinner, an evening campfire that will include traditional Scout skits and yells, and dessert.

Weblos overnighter with Troop 2379

Castaic Lake
Come join troop 2379 for a great weekend full of fun, learning and skills. We will be camping out under the stars at Castaic Lake.
You will join one of our patrols for the weekend and work on scouting skills that you will need when you bridge in February.
Some of the activities planned for the weekend include working on a totem chip, dutch oven cooking, knots, skits and much more.
Meet at The Elks Lodge, Canyon Country, at 10:00 am
