Committee Meeting

The Bill Hart District meeting will be held Thursday, November 19th and December 17th due to the holidays. The planned meeting location is the Alfred Mann Foundation, 25134 Rye Canyon Loop, Valencia, CA 91355 starting at 7PM. Thanks to the AMF team for hosting the last three meetings including the August BBQ!

Re-Chartering Training Meeting

Attention All Bill Hart District Unit Re-Chartering Chairs,

This Thursday October 29^th,2009 we are holding our Re-Chartering Training Meeting at OLPH Catholic Church on Lyons Ave. from 7:00 – 8:30pm.

Mr. Ed Briseno, our District Commissioner, will be showing everyone how to compete the Re-Chartering process.   David Kline, our acting Council Representative, will have each of the Bill Hart Unit’s Re-Chartering information packets with him Thursday, so please be sure to have a representative from your unit there to sign-in and pick-up your unit’s information.

Looking for volunteer scouts to do a flag ceremony and maybe read some poetry if you would like to the Senior Citzens for Veterans Day at the Pacifica Senior Living in Newhall around 10:30am on 11/11/09. Troop 2379 Webelos Overnighter

BRIDGING WEBELOS!
Troop 2379 invites you for an overnighter at Camp Josepho.
You will join one of our patrols for a weekend of adventure and learning. The theme is Indian Lore and you will use your orienteering skills to hunt for hidden treasure, use a bow and arrow and secure your Outdoorsman Activity Badge.

Eagle Workshop – Nov. 12

The Bill Hart District Advancement Committee is having an Eagle Workshop to train adult leaders and Life scouts how to begin the Eagle project process. We will discuss what qualifies as a leadership project and how to properly fill out the appropriate paper work.

Troop 316 Webelos Overnighter

Troop 3:16 Family Overnighter

** All Family members welcome**

This is an overnighter to introduce Santa Clarita Webelos and their families to Troop 316 families. The Webelos will join one of our patrols for the weekend and work on scouting skills that they will need when they bridge.

Some of the activities planned for the weekend include working on map and compass, cooking, knots/lashings, first aid, conservation, skits and much more.

ATTENTION all October Wolf and Bear Trainees!!!

The Wolf and Bear break out session that was scheduled for Saturday, October 24th has been been rescheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 5-8pm!! There will be NO break out session for Wolf and Bear on the 24th.
