Attention all Boy Scouts! Join us at the Summer 2009 Bill Hart District Merit Badge Midway. There are counselors representing nearly 40 badges. And here’s the secret: whether you contact the counselor in advance or not, COME and meet them. Stop by and start the process. Stay part or all of the day.
Just remember that you must have a Blue Card signed by your Scoutmaster (Another secret, some of them will probably be there so who knows how many you might start on…)

“Just in for Thursday’s Roundtable: David Kline, our acting District Executive, has planned a POPCORN TRAINING breakout session for all units that missed the Council’s popcorn training. He will have packets made up for the first 20 units that sign up Thursday night. If your unit thinks it might want to take part in the incredible success of the popcorn sales that our district as demonstrated in the past several years, have a member of your committee in attendance.” Show and Sell orders must be submitted by August 21st so it is important to get started right away.”

August Roundtable for the Bill Hart District will be on Thursday, August 6, at 7:30 PM in the LDS building on the corner of Bouquet Canyon andCenturion Way.
Come early to sign in and have a chance to chat with fellow scouters before it starts. That way you won’t miss anything at the beginning. Leaders for Cubs, Boy Scouts, Varsity, Venturing and all Unit Committee members will meet in the gym promptly at 7:30 for the opening and announcements that apply to all scouting age groups.
