End of Year Registration

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Don’t Let This Happen To You!

It is extremely important that all youth participating in your units during 2008 are registered for the year 2008. If you currently have youth applications for new boys, we need you to turn those in immediately. Recently we have encountered some unfortunate circumstance for the boys because they are not officially registered with the unit. DO NOT hold on to new youth registrations because charter renewal is approaching. Please get your new youth applications in now.

If you have a youth participating in your program and he is not registered he -

1. Is not covered by the Insurance provisions provided by the BSA
2. Will not be credited with Participation, Awards or Leadership Positions.
3. Will not receive Rank Advancement earned.

Registration fees for applications submitted in December are less than $1.00. Please make sure that none of your boys are unprotected from the above situations. Each youth MUST be registered for the year that they participated in and achieved his rank, activity or award.

Completed applications must be signed by the parent, and authorized unit leader. The completed application can be turned in to the Santa Clarita Service Center, WLACC Office or delivered at December’s Round Table (Thursday 12/04).

Please comply with this requirement and have all new youth applications you may be holding on to turned in not later than FRIDAY DECEMBER 12, 2008 to make sure they are processed before the end of the year. Unregistered youth will not be credited with participation, rank advancement or awards for 2008.
